Išve walked alone
Išve walked alone in my shoes
Never knowing what tomorrow holds
With tears and despair trapping me,
Holding me, locking me here.
Išve walked alone in my shoes
With no one to share
No one to hold onto,
Nor anyone to speak too,
Yet, I walk on.
Išve walked alone in my shoes,
Lost and confused,
With no place to turn,
And no hope within my breast.
Išve walked alone in my shoes,
Never believing there was another way,
But as I looked down upon the mud,
I saw two sets of foot prints
Knowing I never walked alone.
